What We Believe
What It Means to be "Born Again"
In Saint John chapter 3 verses 1 through 10, Jesus was having a discussion with Nicodemus. In verse 5, Jesus said to Nicodemus, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of Water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God."
We can see the fulfillment of how to be born of the Water and Spirit from a reply to a question asked of the Apostles in
Acts 2:37-39 37 Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?” 38 Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.”
We believe according to the scriptures that a person must repent, be baptized in Jesus' Name and receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost as steps towards salvation.
As believers; we are to continue to cultivate our development and christian walk just as the bible instructs. Acts 10 Speaks of Cornelius, being a devout God-Fearing Man. God revealed to him that Peter (Jesus' Disciple) in verse 6; he shall tell thee what thou ought to do… Cornelious and his household goes on to receive this Holy Spirit Experience and wanted to learn more about God’s Word!
Paul goes on to write letters to the churches to help us all grow in our walk with God and serve in the Role He has placed us in His Church Body. Unified for God’s Glory and Purpose!
We have many Bible Studies that we can share (at no cost) with your family or one on one.
